Obviously you can speed things up and stay longer on top if you buy boosters but it is not required to be able to reach the top of the game.

The game is made so nothing is consumed from your account - not players, not cash, not your stock items - unless you make the choice to do so.

E.g. do players only lose energy (amount of match minutes left to play in career) when you use them in matches.

How to play for free and win:

1) Keep your best DNAs strands or inject them only into players who you will not use (yet).

2) Keep your best player item cards or inject them only into the players from 1).

3) As nothing gets consumed, you can this way save up to get the absolute top DNA strands (and hereby players) in the game and the best items for them.

So when you have saved up enough to have 11 superb players with top items and nice boosters on side - it is time to build the players, apply the items and make your claim towards the world top.

Simple and fair for all right? It takes some more time to grind your way for no real money spend, but it is most certainly possible for everyone to be world #1. No excuses left...
